A Hare Affair

I should have been longarming last night.....I just needed to de-stress. I changed into yoga pants as soon as I got home, hoping the thought alone would make weight just fall off me, and I trudged into the studio.  I didn't feel like doing anything I was "supposed" to be doing.  By the end of the journey, I had either made the cutest baby quilt ever, or an adoreable Easter wallhanging.

Mr. and Mrs. Hare are wool, as are their clothes.  Everything else is plain old cotton.  So, what do you think of the little yellow border?  I think it is too small.  It is what the pattern called for, but I think it should have at least been the same width of the blue squares.  I already have it in my head how I want to quilt it, so I will draw it out on the pic I took and attach it to the quilt before I hang it in line to be quilted.   This was a quick little project called Bunnies in the Garden that came out of a magazine from 2008.  Another PIG/UFO bites the dust!  Woot woot!

We were supposed to have a "teambuilding" lunch today.  It got cancelled.  Tell me that wasn't an omen!  It is a GF's birthday, and I would much rather spend the lunch with her!

Have a blessed day!
